How we spend time during a Drop-In visit is entirely up to you!
Whether it’s a fun play session in the yard or indoors with toys, cozy cuddle time with your cat, or a quick litter box clean-up — we tailor each visit to your pet’s needs. Drop-Ins can also include feeding meals, administering medication, or simply offering companionship and care.
This service is perfect for young puppies and kittens, small animals and fish, chilly winter days, or anytime your pet needs a little extra love and attention while you’re away.

Pet Sitting Policies
1. Booking & Cancellations
- Pet sitting appointments must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
- Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Holiday bookings require 72 hours’ notice for cancellation.
2. Meet & Greet
- A complimentary meet-and-greet is required before your first booking to ensure we’re a good fit for your pet and to discuss their routine, needs, and your expectations.
3. Access to Home
- Owners must provide reliable access to their home (key, lockbox, or code) prior to the start of service. We are not responsible for any delays caused by lack of access.
- Keys are stored securely and labeled with no identifying information.
4. Health & Emergency Care
- Owners must disclose all health issues, medications, allergies, and behavioral concerns prior to the visit.
- In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact your preferred veterinarian or the nearest available clinic. Owners are responsible for all associated veterinary costs.
5. Safety & Pet Behavior
- Pets must be non-aggressive and comfortable being handled by sitters.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet poses a danger to the sitter or others.
- Owners are responsible for any damages or injuries caused by their pet during the sit.
6. Home Care
- Basic home care (mail collection, plant watering, lights adjustment) can be included upon request at no additional charge.
- We are not responsible for unforeseen home issues (e.g., power outages, plumbing leaks) but will notify the owner immediately if such issues are discovered.
7. Inclement Weather Policy
- In cases of severe weather, we will make every reasonable effort to care for your pet. Owners are encouraged to have a local emergency contact as a backup.
8. Updates
- All visits include a post-visit update with photos and notes about your pet’s well-being and activities.
9. Daily Visit Requirement
- We require daily visits for all pets in our care. We do not accept every-other-day services, as consistent check-ins are essential for your pet’s safety, health, and comfort.
10. Special Conditions & Limitations
- We do not offer “skip-the-cat” visits—all animals in the home require care during the service period.
- We do not share responsibilities with neighbors, family, or friends. PetPal must be the sole provider of care while you are away.
- We cannot accept severely anxious, aggressive, or unsafe pets that may pose a risk to our staff or themselves.
- Each additional pet is considered a separate booking and will be charged accordingly to reflect the time and care required.
