INTENDED FOR USERS OVER 13 YEARS OF AGE The safety of children is very important to us. Although this Site is intended for use by persons at least 13 years of age, PetPal cannot prohibit minors from visiting our Sites and must rely on parents and guardians (at least 18 years of age at the time of use) to decide which materials are appropriate for children under 13. PetPal will not knowingly collect personal information from children.
LIMITATIONS REGARDING INFORMATION, ARTICLES, AND ADVICE PetPal offers articles, information, and advice to pet parents through this Site, its Facebook and Twitter pages for educational purposes only. Any information offered through these channels is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure your pet and is not a substitute for veterinary care provided by a licensed veterinarian. For any medical or health-related advice concerning the care and treatment of your pet, please contact your regular veterinarian or local animal hospital.
ERRORS ON SITE Prices and availability of services are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered and PetPal reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, whether the service or product sold has been confirmed and/or your credit/debit card has been charged.
PRICING Prices offered are subject to change. We reserve the right to limit sales, including the right to refuse sales.
SALES TAX PetPal collects and remits 13% sales tax (HST) as required by law and is subject to charge sales tax for products or services rendered.
PAYING FOR YOUR SERVICES You may pay for your order with cash, debit card, or major credit cards (Visa®, MasterCard®).
We will only accept cheques from businesses that have established accounts with PetPal. When you pay by cheque, you authorize PetPal or its cheque processing designee(s) to use information on your cheque to make a one-time electronic debit from your account at the financial institution indicated on your cheque. If you do not have sufficient funds in your account, a fee of $25 will be charged for administration.
COUPONS OR ONLINE DEALS If using a coupon or online deal, it must be presented prior to the generation of your invoice. Coupons or online deals may not be used in conjunction with other coupons or promotional offers, are limited to one per transaction, and may not be redeemed for cash, credit, or refund. See other restrictions in the terms of each offer. PetPal reserves the right to restrict the use of coupons or online deals on certain products and services.
EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY All sales made through PetPal are final. All items are non-refundable and can be exchanged within 14 days of the receipt date.
INDEMNITY You agree to indemnify and hold PetPal and its officers, agents, employees, and other partners and Third Parties harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of this Site.
DISPUTES This Site is operated by PetPal. If there is any dispute regarding this Site, by using this Site, you agree that the dispute will be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION By subscribing to PetPal’s mailing list, you agree that you are at least 13 years of age at the time of sign-up and that your use of our Site does not violate our Policies.
